"Duo Allant appeared as guest artists at the November program of Sundays at Stambaugh at Christman Hall. Both musicians brought a high standard of excellence to their performance in their first appearance at this series. If the enthusiastic response from the audience is any indication, they will be invited back.

The musicianship and artistry of Kathryn Umble, flutist and Francois Fowler, classical guitarist, was displayed in duets as well as solos. The carefully chosen program featuring works of composers from seven countries was a wonderful opportunity to experience a variety of styles, technical challenges, and ethnic influences. Brief descriptions before each work added greatly to the pleasure of the audience in providing them with insight into what they were about to hear.
